# Opportunity Lab: seed alternative solutions The [Tessera Opportunity Lab](https://github.com/ta-amps/tessera-infrastructure-work-and-storage-engine/blob/main/docs/opportunity-lab.md) provides a runnable seed-authoring example for eleven startup themes. It uses existing noun storage and verb queues; this contribution repository remains a guide. The initial pack creates two independent ideation attempts per theme. Nouns include the source, theme, project profile, output contract and procedures. Workers claim verbs to ideate, then save private candidate nouns. A shared input brief can produce different solutions: each attempt has its own lease, artifact key and receipt. A comparison verb can evaluate both, and a remix verb can produce a third proposal with parent references. The supplied procedures cover discovery, ideation, remixing, evaluation, benchmark design, new seed proposals and system mapping. Only initial ideation is enqueued by the authoring command. The remaining procedure nouns do not automatically create jobs or schedules. For a contribution, name the beneficiary and mechanism, identify reusable nouns and independently schedulable verbs, list assumptions, and propose a test that could disprove the idea. Distinguish a proposal from an implemented artifact and from a measured result. Scores need explicit dimensions and evidence; leave unknown values unknown. Hardware, model and harness context must accompany comparative performance claims. The showcase uses synthetic proposals and public source context. It does not verify the source's factual claims, certify businesses or authorize external effects. A worker receipt proves that a submission was recorded, not that its idea is good. Admission remains a separate step under the owning policy.
